    2. Doctor Doctor (a short lived matt frewer venture)
    3. NIGHT COURT
    4. Coupling (like freinds, but less lame)
    5. another vote for the Young Ones

1.) The Simpsons - Of course! Fearlessly satiric, incisive, entertaining, & funny as hell

    2.) Seinfeld - See above

3.) Cheers - Terrific cast & indelible characters: "NORM!"

4.) Roseanne - The most true-to-life & authentic sitcom. It dealt with stuff like wife-beating, infidelity, & alcoholism with maturity & everyday gallows humor.

5.) Malcolm in the Middle - It gets a little too precious & wacky at times, but the writing is surprisingly excellent and like Roseanne, true-to-life, albeit with a lighter touch.

Martin- martin lawerance at his best. Sheneneh Jenkins/ Momma Payne/ Jerome/
Roscoe The Snot-nose Kid. enough said

Ren & Stimpy- this show was bananas

The Wonder Years- ahhhhhhhh Kevin Arnold

Girlfriends-the show started out pretty bad-ass. loved the different depictions of african-
      american women

In Living Color- just damn hilarious. a lot of great talent came out of this show
